We are a non-profit organization established to not only create, present and preserve the art of classical ballet but also to contribute towards enhancing the education and development of classical ballet and dance arts in Singapore.
To enrich our community by inspiring a lasting love and appreciation for classical ballet with the highest caliber of artistic excellence on stage, innovative choreography and superb educational programs.
We will accomplish this through local, regional and international dance exchanges to bring forth everyones ballet stories and connect with our common experiences.
Kim Sun-hee, the dean of dance at Korea National University of Arts, creates a ballet from Hans Christian Andersen's cautionary fish-out-of-water tale, The Little Mermaid, featuring an original score by Hana Ryou.
K-Arts Dance Company was established in 1997 by the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and is operated and supported by the government. Dancers are students at the Korean National University of the Arts.
